How To Identify Your Lewmar Portlight

Portlights Produced after October 1997 (with the exception of the Old Standard) have Lewmar, the name of the range, the portlight size, and a date code stamped on the acrylic.

All models available in opening, Portlights, or non-opening versions, Fixedlights.

(Old) Standard Portlight Produced 1982-1998  No frame around acrylic  Plastic handles and hinges fastened through acrylic  Plastic turn to close handles  2 Frame joins on outside of portlight  Interior ABS trim fitted with velcro type strips.

Old and New Standard Fixedlights have no handle and the acrylic is bonded to the outer trim.

 

New Standard Portlight Produced 1997 to date  No frame around acrylic  Plastic handles and hinges glued to acrylic  Plastic push to close handles  1 Frame join on outside of portlight  Interior ABS trim clips into place

Atlantic Portlight Produced 1994 to date  Alloy frame around acrylic  Metal push to close handles  1 Frame joint in outside of portlight  Alloy interior trim
